When I opened the package, received from Roxanne, I was really impressed by the presentation. It all looked clean and crisp, with exceptional wrapping. You could really see the care that went into putting it all together.  As you open the top, on the underside of the lid, there was a note showing all the ways you can connect with them on social media, tag your pictures and email Roxanne. The package itself, was wrapped in zebra print tissue paper and closed with a ribbon stating the company name. Upon unwrapping it, the polishes were surrounded by crinkle cut paper shreds and each one was in it's own, sealed ziplock type baggie. (I really liked this because if by chance one polish does break, it won't ruin all the others or make a large mess). Also mixed in were a bunch of cute little diamondy gems, a nice touch!

Now, onto the polishes!

First up is Celeste. A really pretty pale pink, perfect wedding nail color in my opinion. To me the formula was a creme, but slightly crelly-like. It was shear enough that I needed 3 coats to fully cover the tips of my nails, but each coat added more depth to the color. It's one of those pinks that can appear so pale it is almost white in some lights, but in other lights is definitely pink. Such a girly, dainty color!  Drying time was pretty normal for this one. (in each picture, I did 3 coats + topcoat) [the waterfall design on the last pics was done using acrylic paint and a touch of Eighty4's Disco Ball]

Next is Millie. I love this one! It an amazing coral in color and has a beautiful iridescent shimmer throughout. This one is definitely a creme and only needed 2 coats and the drying time was on the faster side. It had great application and is a super fun color for summer. (in each picture I did 2 coats + topcoat) [the design in the last pictures was created using acrylic paint and the stud on my pinky is from Charmingly Simple Nail Art]

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Third is Kate. A soft gray in color. This one is also a creme, but it's formula is just a tad thicker than the previous ones. Not a bad thing, but I did have to be a little more consistent in my brush strokes. Regardless, this was a fantastic shade of gray that I will likely find myself using as the base for lots of nail art in the future!
(in each picture I did 2 coats + topcoats) [the design in the last pictures was created using black acrylic paint and the studs are from Winstonia Store]

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lastly I have Bonnie. It is a creme with a thinner consistency (which I prefer). It is a gorgeous mix between a gray and a dusty blue. So so pretty. It had great application and was opaque in 3 thin coats. (in each picture I did 3 thin coats + topcoat) [for the nail art in the last picture, I used Elysian Nail Lacquer's Misapplied Magic glitter topper and the stud is from Charmingly Simple Nail Art] The very last picture of this color was taken in the shade, so that you could see how different it looks in another lighting.

I actually really loved all four polishes included in June's subscription box. They were beautiful colors, great formula and smooth applications overall. I also wanted to note that they all had pretty shiny finishes on their own, I am just addicted to my beloved HK Girl topcoat..lol. Another noteworthy tidbit, is that the fullsize bottles are a whopping 17ml / 0.57oz. and each was filled to the top. The caps are a good size and are round and glossy. Fit in my hand just perfect. Also the brushes are the wider ones, which I really like.

Now for the big question! Is the box worth $29.99?
I'd say yes! On average a decent bottle of nail polish will costs you around $8-9 per bottle + shipping. Here you are getting 4 total. And they weren't just 4 mediocre made polishes. They all were all in the average or above average range for me. If each month's box contains the same formulas and great colors as in June's box, then I would definitely want to see what they come up with next.

Kudos to Roxanne and the Luxe Lacquers team!
